CHEO launches YouTube mental health series with Jamie Fine
CHEO launches a new 6 part YouTube series with 5 time Juno nominated artist Jamie Fine to provide accessible mental health support for youth. The content, blending real life stories with clinician insight, covers subjects such as anxiety, depression, and substance use.

CHEO Foundation
The CHEO Foundation exists to help our community support children, youth and families as they face physical, mental and developmental challenges, with the ultimate goal of enabling them to lead their best life. We believe that every child deserves quality care, family-centered support and the opportunity to realize their potential.
At CHEO, there is inspiration all around and there are so many ways to measure. Success is when a cancer patient finally eats after having lost their appetite because of chemotherapy, or when a scan comes back clear after a long course of treatment, or when a child with an amputation gets that first prosthetic and learns to walk. These are just some of the real successes at CHEO. With a generous community by their side, more patient victories are made possible because the CHEO Foundation can support doctors in the operating room, nurses at the bedside, and researchers in the lab. Together, we all help a child live their very best life.

For more than 100 years, BGC Ottawa has given children and youth safe, supportive spaces beyond home and school where they can belong, learn and grow. As one of Ottawa’s largest child and youth-serving charitable organizations, BGC Ottawa delivers free, life-changing programs to more than 12,000 young people each year through its four Clubhouses, Camp Smitty and community service programs, reaching young people from diverse backgrounds, including many from underserved communities.
Its inclusive programs help young people overcome barriers, build confidence and develop skills for life while addressing critical issues such as equity and inclusion, anti-racism, Reconciliation, 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion, food security, education, scholarships and job readiness.
